The Center for Research in Economics (CEREC) is the economic research center at UCLouvain Saint-Louis – Brussels.
CEREC was founded in 1984 and has been growing since then. Its members develop their research, applied and theoretical, in various fields of economics, with a special emphasis on the scope for public intervention in market economies. The main fields of research are central bank communication, digital economics, education, environmental economics, experimental economics, finance, game theory, growth, industrial organization, monetary economics, public economics, networks, taxation, transport economics, and trade.
